Happy October, Phoenix!


I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything, I have just been super busy between visiting family and playing my son.

Phoenix has come a long way since he was born. Every doctor I’ve spoken with, therapist, and even other parents who have children with Down syndrome always tell me the same thing. “He isn’t going to walk until he is two,” “You need to work with him more because your child is going to be slow,” I have also had someone tell me, “Your child may never speak.” I can handle all of these comments, you know why? Because I know my son, I know what is best for my son, and I do everything I can to help him learn all he can as soon as possible. The one thing I cannot deal with, is negativity.
