My Perfect Honeymoon

After a very hectic and stressful month, and a thrown together yet very beautiful wedding, we had our perfect honeymoon. We decided, being the child-at-heart types, to go to Orlando and spend our 2 days at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios!

Choosing to skip the parking fees, we parked the van at a gift shop a little over a mile from the park gates and walked.

On the journey to the park, we stopped every 10 feet and tried to catch lizards!  I mean, they were everywhere! We named this little guy Orlando before releasing him!

He let me go absolutely crazy in Seuss Landing and rode every kiddie ride without hesitation.

I laughed like I’ve never laughed before. I fell more in love every time I caught him looking at me. He pushed my comfort level and made me ride the “big scary ” rides and I actually enjoyed myself!

The second day, we went to Universal Studios. It was much busier so we ended up taking the ‘Single Rider’ option. We didn’t ride together but we still got to ride what we wanted to, and just wasted less time! There were a lot of street performances which was really neat.

The Simpsons area was pretty awesome! We ate Krusty Burgers for lunch (delicious)

Everything was absolutely perfect. And while we didn’t get as much time as I would have liked, I don’t think I could have asked for a better honeymoon.
